Job Title: Stockroom Associate
Location: Melbourne, FL
Employment: Temp (3 months)
Industry: Defense and Space Manufacturing
Compensation: $18-$23/hr.
Schedule: 40 hours/week
About the Opportunity:
  • Performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, distributing and order fulfillment of merchandise, products, materials, parts, supplies and equipment.
  • Checks goods received and for distribution against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of goods and rejects unsatisfactory items.

What You'll Do:
  • Packages and prepares products and merchandise for final shipment and posts weights and shipping charges.
  • Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped.
  • Reviews customer orders, examines, stocks and distributes merchandise, products and materials in inventory warehouses, distribution centers or manufacturing lines.
  • Possess in-depth understanding of shipping, export control, and WAWF.
  • Review contracts or specific shipping instructions.
Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1+ year of experience with counting parts.
  • 1+ year of experience working with computers.
  • 1+ year of material handling experience.
What Sets You Apart:
  • Accuracy and attention to detail is of the utmost importance.
  • Some minor data entry.
