In this sensitive role, you will provide bereavement follow-up counseling to families who have experienced a loss, coordinating support groups and memorial services for survivors of Hospice patients, and supervising volunteers who provide support to survivors.

Position:

Bereavement Counselor

Shift:

As needed. Hours will vary based on patient needs

Experience:

1. Minimum of two years paid professional experience dealing with human behavior, family therapy, crisis intervention, or related assistance program required.

2. Previous home care or hospice experience preferred.

3. Prior experience working with volunteers preferred.

Education:

1. Baccalaureate degree in Health or Social Services required.

2. Master's degree in Social Work preferred.

Licensures/Certifications:

1. Current license to practice Social Work in Pennsylvania, or eligible for immediate Pennsylvania licensure, preferred.

2. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and automobile insurance required.

Pay Range: $65,520.00 - $101,504.00
