Job Title - Instructional Designer - Change Management + Training Development

Hybrid Work Model - 4 days onsite and the manager is flexible on the remote day.

Preferred Work Location - Westlake, TX / Secondary Locations - Austin, TX and Lone Tree, CO

Duration - 12 months

Job Description -

Role Summary

This contractor focuses on translating change impacts into effective training and enablement materials that help employees successfully adopt new processes, tools, or ways of working.

Key Responsibilities:

* Partner with change managers to understand change impacts and learning needs

* Design and develop training assets such as:

o Instructor led materials

o Self paced learning content

o Job aids, quick reference guides, and process walkthroughs

* Support training plans and learning timelines aligned to change milestones

* Ensure training content aligns with change messaging and target behaviors

* Participate in testing and refinement of training materials based on feedback

* Support coordination with learning platforms or delivery partners as needed

Required Experience & Skills:

* 2-4 years of experience in training development, instructional design, or learning support roles

* Working knowledge of adult learning principles

* Experience creating structured training content and job aids

* Basic understanding of change management concepts and how training supports adoption

* Strong organizational and documentation skills

Nice to Have

* Experience with e learning tools (e.g., Articulate, Captivate) or LMS platforms

* Exposure to technology, process, or operating model changes
