The Program Quality Engineer (Adv Quality Eng) is responsible for ensuring that products, processes, and deliverables meet established quality standards and customer requirements throughout the program lifecycle. We encourage you to apply if you have any of these skills or experiences: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field plus 5+ years of relevant experience, or Master's degree plus 3+ years of relevant experience Experience in a quality engineering role within a defense or aerospace environment Familiarity with quality management systems and tools (FMEA, APQP, SPC) Knowledge of applicable standards such as AS9100, ISO 9001, or MIL-SPEC ASQ certifications (CQE, CQA) or experience with DoD programs and DCMA interface What you'll experience: Developing, implementing, and maintaining Quality Management Plans (QMPs) for assigned programs Conducting audits, inspections, and reviews to ensure compliance with internal and customer requirements Supporting root cause analysis and corrective action processes (RCCA/CAR) Monitoring and reporting key quality metrics to program leadership Interfacing with customers on quality-related matters and supporting customer audits What you bring to the table: Proven experience collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to identify and mitigate quality risks Ability to review and approve technical documentation, test plans, and inspection records Proficiency with quality management systems and tools including FMEA, APQP, and SPC Hands-on experience ensuring compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, and/or MIL-SPEC standards Background working with DoD programs and interfacing with DCMA What sets you apart: ASQ certifications such as CQE or CQA Experience reviewing documents, drawings, and instructions for conformance to requirements Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver projects on time Our Commitment to You: An exciting career path with opportunities for continuous learning and development Research oriented work, alongside award winning teams developing practical solutions for our nation's security Flexible schedules with every other Friday off work, if desired (9/80 schedule) Competitive benefits, including 401k matching, flex time off, paid parental leave, healthcare benefits, health & wellness programs, employee resource and social groups, and more See more at gdmissionsystems.com/careers/why-work-for-us/benefits Workplace Options: This position is fully on-site...we are not offering a relocation package at this time.
