Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Research Assistant Data Analyst (Temporary Part-Time) for the School of Nursing.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
- Assists in the design and implementation of research studies, including maintaining organized records of research activities and results.
- Contacts potential study participants to recruit.
- Meets patients at locations to enroll and train them to participate in the study.
- Uses RedCap and Qualtrics for data collection.
- Conducts literature reviews to gather relevant information and summarize findings.
- Collects, analyzes, and interprets data using statistical software.
- Prepares reports and presentations based on research findings.
- Collaborates with team members and contribute to project discussions.
- Supports administrative tasks related to research projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and grant applications.
- Pulls reports to create patient registry in EPIC and chart review.

Qualifications
| Minimum Education and Experience |
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, or a related field plus two years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- High proficiency in R data analysis software.
- Experience with survey data, scoring instruments, creating surveys in RedCap and Qualtrics to collect data and export data.
- Data visualization experience, making graphs and figures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Master's degree or 2nd year Master's program student in Statistics or Biostatistics.
- Previous experience in a research setting.
- Familiarity with qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
- Knowledge of specific research topics relevant to diabetes.
