Description

Evaluate and treat a wide variety of outpatient sport-related conditions effectively and efficiently in a professional manner at the Training HAUS.

This is a full-time position working varying hours day to day Monday through Friday out of our Eagan location. Shifts may begin as early as 7:00 am and end as late as 7:00 pm. The schedule will not exceed 40 hours per week and will be determined based on patient and clinic needs while taking applicant preferences into consideration. The Physical Therapist will also be included in the Saturday rotation.

Twin Cities Orthopedics and the Training HAUS are operating divisions of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health), a group of local medical practices, owned and led by its physicians, on a mission to give patients more control over their healthcare.

Essential Functions:



  • Routinely evaluate and treat outpatient sports-related conditions through physician referral and direct access
  • Collaborate with physicians, managers, athletic trainers, strength coaches, and sports scientists across Training HAUS and TCO
  • Willingness to use objective testing for athletes and learn to interpret data from force plates, motion capture, and isokinetic dynamometry
  • Effectively choose and apply wide variety of therapeutic exercises, modalities, manual therapy, and other treatments in accordance with Minnesota State Practice Act
  • Maintain safe environment for self, staff and patients
  • Apply lawful and ethical use of therapy services in daily treatments
  • Direct supervision of a Physical or Occupational Therapist Assistant (PTA/COTA) may be required
  • Participate in continuing education routinely in order to maintain state license
  • Communicate with coworkers and patients in professional manner
  • Perform verbal and written communication with physicians and staff
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced outpatient orthopedic setting
  • Routinely participate and share knowledge obtained from continuing education courses with staff and the community at the direction of the department or organization
  • Occasionally participate in community functions relating to the outreach at TCO events throughout the year
  • Any and all other duties as assigned


Education and Experience Requirements:



  • Master's/Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy
  • Active Minnesota state license
  • Advanced Credentialing Required (SCS Preferred)
  • CSCS Preferred
  • History of working with high level athletes

Working Conditions:



  • Frequentlylift up to 50 pounds independently and occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
  • Requires the ability to stand, walk, bend, and move continuously throughout the shift.
  • Must be able to frequently perform physical activities such as pushing, pulling, and reaching.
  • Visual acuity to read electronic and paper documents.
  • Auditory ability to participate in phone or video calls clearly.
  • Manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment (e.g., computer, phone, printer).
