ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Shared responsibility for finished goods meeting or exceeding customer expectations

    • All stages of inspection: 1st article, in process, final, and receiving.

      • Specify method of inspecting and validating the quality of FEP resins used in Melts products.

        • Specify method of inspecting and validating the quality of fluoropolymer resins used in Paste products.

          • Operation of Lab equipment

  • Maintain accurate records.

  • Proper use of measuring devices (measurement training required)

    • Lab testing

      • Certification generation

        • Quality Systems maintenance

  • Adhere to quality standards and guidelines. Maintain accurate records

  • Maintain work area in clean and orderly fashion, follow 5S practices

  • Support calibration actions

  • Report quality issues to Plant Quality Manager

  • Perform work of an equal or lower classification

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma or GED, recognizes International Diplomas (may need to be translated to English)

  • U.S. Citizen or permanent residency status required

  • 2 years experience in Quality Lab preferred

  • Must be competent in basic mathematical and analytical skills, as well as verbal and written communication.

  • Basic computer skills.

  • Ability to read and use various measuring devices (Calipers, Tape, Etc) without supervision

  • Some ISO knowledge preferred

  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills

  • Understanding basic lean fundamentals

Physical & PPE Requirements:

Standing, sitting, bending, lifts up to 30 lbs., walking. Steel-toed shoes and safety glasses are required PPE.
