As a Front Desk Officer at a busy retail location, you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor activity from a stationary post, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism and care. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a front desk location within a retail environment.
• Monitor access at the front desk by greeting visitors, verifying credentials, managing guest check-in processes, and communicating entry procedures to staff, vendors, and/or guests.
• Respond to incidents, questions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site leadership and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Support front desk operations by maintaining logs, documenting security-related events, answering phones, and providing directions and assistance to visitors and personnel.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptive activity through attentive observation of the lobby and entry area, reporting unusual behavior or policy violations according to site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
