Description Job Title: Assembler Location: Tempe, AZ Employment: Temp (12 months) Industry: Aerospace and Defense Compensation: $19.50/hr.+10% shift differential Schedule: 9/80 Reg - 2 ^nd shift About the Opportunity: Responsible for performing a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations which may include skilled hand work or utilizing automated production equipment. Comprehends and interprets a variety of technical specifications, terms and documents. Determines or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units. Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications. APPLY TODAY What You'll Do: Entry-level support individual contributor. Work is closely supervised. Work consists of tasks that are routine. Explains facts and practices related to job area. Detailed instructions are provided and close peer review is needed. Communicates with contacts typically within the team on matters that involve obtaining or providing information needing explanation or interpretation to understand and reach agreement. Work is structured within identified boundaries and procedures. Follows established processes to complete tasks. Escalates issues to supervisor for resolution. Work is of limited scope, typically on smaller, routine task-related activities. Job Requirements What You'll Bring: High School Diploma or GED. 1+ years of J-Standard soldering experience. What Sets You Apart: Associate Degree. Experience handing small products/microchips (part is no larger than a quarter in diameter). Good hand/eye coordination - manual dexterity is needed as will be working with glass products. Close attention to detail and quality. Ability to perform basic functions on a PC/Microsoft office. Good communication skills. Teamwork oriented. Ability to work with little or no supervision if needed. Ability to make quality decisions quickly. Patience.
