Overview

BAI, a defense contractor, is seeking an Acquisition Specialist/Analyst Senior with 10+ years of experience, for our expanding workforce to support development of program acquisition documentation, funding documents, mission requirements, and compliance, at Contractor and Government site(s) in Patuxent River, MD. and Norfolk, VA. Salary

The typical annual salary range for this position is $100,000.00 USD to $120,000.00 USD. Salary will be based on current qualifications, directly related experience, geographic location, and possible contractual requirements which could fall outside of this range.



Responsibilities

    Supports and drafts program milestone related documentation to ensure compliance with all aspects of the DoD and SECNAV 5000 series directives
  • Supports the development of program acquisition documentation such as:
    • Acquisition Plans (Aps)
    • Acquisition Strategy Reports (ASRs)
    • Procurement Initiation Documents (PIDs)
    • Performance Work Statement (PWS)
    • Funding Documents
    • Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs)
    • Acquisition Program Baseline Agreement (APBAs)
  • Assess program procedures, practices, philosophies, and documentation for compliance with specifications, contracts, and mission requirements
  • Attends, participates, supports, analyzes, provides input, develops, prepares and reports on briefs, point papers, reports, correspondence, meetings, conferences, and review boards


Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience performing duties described in the functional description
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills-verbal, non-verbal, written, and listening-for staff, customer, and organizational level communications, both formal and informal
  • Ability to perform all functional duties independently, self-starter.
  • Working knowledge and use of Microsoft Office suite programs, MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and SharePoint; Microsoft Project 2016; and Adobe Acrobat (reader and pro)

EDUCATION

Degree: MA/MS degree.

Allowable Substitution: Bachelor's Degree plus two (2) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Master's Degree, or Associate's Degree plus four (4) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Master's Degree, or six (6) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Master's Degree.

CLEARANCE

Condition of Employment: Applicant must have an active DoD Secret Clearance. The applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

CITIZENSHIP

The applicant must have US citizenship at the time of application.
