Overview

The Senior Manager Project Controls is responsible for implementation, training, oversight and conducting Project Controls related practices for projects across multiple operational groups.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

Effectively communicate project scope, plan and progress to all stakeholders internally and externally

Lead, train, and manage project controls personnel on project controls functions, processes, tools and procedures.
Provide guidance and expertise to project management on project controls analysis, trends, performance, forecasting, Time Impact Analysis, and claims
Coordinate resources and assign tasks on Project Controls activities
Lead reviews and project controls analysis with upper management and project teams to provide innovative solutions to scheduling & cost performance
Lead project reviews on actual performance, change management, budgets, forecasting, progress and schedule performance
Develop practices and procedures as needed
Assist/train project management in use of PM/Controls tools
Works on complex assignments and manages internal/external team members towards a common goal.
Complete performance reviews and provides personnel development for the assigned employee
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Construction Engineering or related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience
10+ years of related experience in project controls or cost scheduling and planning
4+ years of CPM schedule integration, or Cost Control and managing personnel
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

High proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Organizational skills and ability to manage simultaneous tasks/assignments

Working Environment:

When visiting jobsites the work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions
