Microsoft Low Code AI Technical Architect

Job Summary:

The Microsoft Low Code/AI Technical Architect works with cutting edge technology, delivers high quality solutions across various local industries, and drives solutions with a team working on holistic software projects that range in size and scope, as well as receive continuous career development opportunities. This role performs advanced technical design and development of Microsoft Low Code/AI solutions and leads others in those activities. This position owns and participates in consulting relationships with multiple clients and technologies.

Job Duties:

Software Design:
* Produces and reviews software and database designs that meet both business and technical requirements

Consulting:
* Gains a robust understanding of client needs and plays an integral part in defining and proposing practical solutions to meet or exceed client expectations

Software Architecture:
* Plays an instrumental role in defining the software and database architecture for new solutions

Business Requirements Gathering:
* Leads client requirements gathering sessions and accurately documents business requirements

Implementation and Support:
* Develops application code and reusable components
* Software deployments and ongoing software support
* Builds predictive models that are accurate and robust and that help our customers to utilize the core platform to the maximum extent

Other duties as required

Supervisory Responsibilities:
* Leads a team of developers within projects to ensure timelines and deliverables are met
* Responsible for the quality of all technical deliverables on a project.
* Oversees time reporting accuracy and the technical management of projects
* Performs code reviews and ensures adherence to standards

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Education
* Bachelor's degree and six (6) or more years of application development experience, required; OR High School Diploma/GED and eight (8) or more years of application development experience, required
o Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, preferred

Experience
* Three (3) or more years of technically leading teams or development projects, required
* One (1) or more years of professional experience developing with Copilot Studio (Formerly Power Virtual Agents), required
* Three (3) or more years of development experience with one (1) or more of the following, required:
o Power Apps (Canvas, Model-Driven)
o Power Automate
o Dataverse
* Two (2) or more years of hands-on experience with implementation of Agentic AI solutions or bots, required
* Five (5) or more years producing technical designs (artifacts), preferred
* Experience with Azure DevOps Boards or Jira, preferred
* Experience within a consultative environment, preferred

Software:
* Development Experience with two (2) or more of the following, required:
o Agile Software Development Experience.
o Experience using source control (Azure DevOps, GitHub, or similar).
o Front-end Development (AngularJS, React, TypeScript, .NET MVC, or similar)
o Web Design (HTML, CSS, SASS)
o Database Server Experience (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL or similar)
o SQL Development Experience (Queries, Functions, Stored Procedures)
o NoSQL Experience (Azure Cosmos DB, MongoDB, or similar)
o SharePoint List Configuration
o Power Platform AI Builder
o Power Platform Custom Connectors
* Experience with one (1) or more of the following, preferred:
o Professional experience coding with Microsoft Development Platform.
o Hands-on experience with any of the following: Azure OpenAI, AI Foundry, AI Search.
o Familiarity with Cloud Technologies
o Agile Software Development Experience
o Experience using source control (Azure DevOps, GitHub, or similar)
o Cloud Technologies (Azure, AWS)
o CI/CD Pipeline experience (i.e., GitHub Actions, Azure Pipelines, Gitlab Runners, etc.)

License/Certifications:

Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
* Robust technical knowledge of RAG, LLMs, and AI integration patterns
* Familiarity with AI governance, ethics, and risk frameworks
* Ability to develop and learn new and emerging technologies
* Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP)
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Must be open to travel to client sites, if needed

Individual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.

National Range: $135,000 - $175,000 Maryland Range: $135,000 - $175,000
NYC/Long Island/Westchester Range: $135,000 - $175,000
