We are looking for our next dynamic Assistant Team Leader. Could it be you?


KI's Manufacturing Plant in Bonduel is looking for a first shift team Assistant Team Leader for our Infinity Department.


This individual must be able to effectively lead and assist a team through motivation, team building, and conflict resolution. They also must be able to communicate production coordination and assist in directing all assembly technicians and operations on a daily basis. Our Assistant Team Leader positions are "hands on" and report to our lean production managers. The Assistant Team Leader must be able to promote, understand and be able to calculate and communicate all goals set for department in regards to safety, quality and production. They must also ensure the cell is staffed according to labor standards and communicate effectively with the Team Leader, Process Manager and other shift leaders.


Responsibilities and Requirements:





  • Assist TL in completing orders on-time; point person for assigned areas to maintain production



  • Backfill TL while out



  • Successfully meet all cell based measures; involvement in continuous improvement efforts



  • Provide customer service to internal and external customers




  • Know how to read shop orders and open orders utilizing BPCS
  • Good hand/eye coordination; above average attention to detail
  • Ability to work on feet for a minimum of 8 hours per day/5 days per week.
  • Must pay attention to quality, safety and detail work at a continuous pace
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision
  • This position remains a hands-on production position.



Successful candidates will be comfortable in public presentations, such as in huddles and training others. In addition, they must be comfortable in BPCS and Microsoft Office. A successful candidate must have the ability to lead, delegate, communicate, and participate in CI/Lean projects. Previous leadership/training experience is preferred.
