Position: Structural Engineer

Worksite: 5995 Rogerdale Road, Houston, TX 77072

Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation of civil/structural engineering deliverables for petrochemical facilities, refineries, and/or industrial plant. Proficiently utilize structural engineering software such as STAAD Pro, Foundation 3D, and Mat 3D. Assist in design (site work design, reinforced concrete design, and structural steel design) reviews and checks. Assist in review of supplier documentation for compliance with specifications. Communicate with engineering lead and co-workers to ensure consistent designs are produced. Process RFI's, shop drawings and redline markups for revisions. Prepare and review technical reports and documents within the discipline. Perform routine calculations. Assist more experienced engineers in preparing, coordinating, and reviewing deliverables for the discipline.

Minimum

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering and 24 months of experience with structural engineering of petrochemical facilities, refineries, and/or industrial plant, including experience utilizing structural engineering software such as STAAD Pro, Foundation 3D, and Mat 3D.
