Job Description

Responsible for overseeing and performing a wide range of operational and facility support tasks, including but not limited to general housekeeping, sanitation, and area clean-up. Leads efforts in sweeping, painting, lubrication (oiling, greasing, etc.), and power washing to ensure a safe and well-maintained environment.

Operates and ensures proper use of equipment such as motorized forklifts, while supporting team members in lifting andscissor lift and floor scrubber.Provides guidance and direction to others on task execution, prioritization, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Maintains accountability for completing assigned work efficiently and supports supervision in driving daily operations, addressing issues, and ensuring alladditionalduties are carried out as assigned.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Perform CIP and Manual cleanings.

  1. Maintain facility cleaning.

  1. Oversee Sanitation team and escalate issues to Sanitation Supervisor.

  1. Assistin investigating Food Safety and Quality issues.

  1. Sustain Programs and Policies: develop,implementandmonitorplant sanitation and hygiene program policies to ensure compliance and support business objectives

  1. Develop SSOP

  1. Administration Sanitation Program: responsible for developing and recommending corrective action where environmental and health hazards exist.Identify, monitor, correct andeliminategaps between the plant practice and sanitation policies

  1. This position will conduct audits, evaluate, teach and train to improve plant sanitation

  1. This positionis responsible formonitoring housekeeping and hygiene standards

  1. Food Safety Requirements: the plant sanitation supervisor willensurethe Food Safety, Quality and Regulatory compliance standards arebeing metthroughout the performance of the day-to-day duties. These standards include but are not limited to: GFSI, FSMA, GMPs and HAACP/Food Safety

  1. Act as an in-house subject matter expert for the plant related to sanitation related applications. This position will advise manufacturing engineering and other operations personnel on decisions related to food safety and sanitary design.

  2. Responsible for developing,trainingand monitoring food safety programs that support the sanitation and food safety in the plant. See below as an example but not a comprehensive list.

Qualifications

Qualifications

Education:Minimumof high school diploma or GED required.

Related Experience:Previousrelevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment or commercial cleaning.

Equipment/Software Skills:Basiccomputer knowledge-dataentry.

Additional Information

Must consent background screening, drug screening.

Physical:Must be able to walk throughout the plant,to includewalking and climbing up/downstairs.Must have be ability tolift upto 50 pounds occasionally and must be able to weara respiratorrequired.

Sensory:Must have theappropriate levelof sensory acuity (visual, hearing, speaking,smelland touch) to be able toidentifyand react to normal, abnormal and alarm conditions (chemicals, temperature, etc.)

Mental/Reasoning:Must be able tologically and methodically work through and break down complex problems and processes to enable effective communication with all levels of the organization.
