The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Performs proper radiographic procedures as required by physician orders,

Provides patient service using diagnostic, portable and fluoroscopic equipment,

Technologist is competent in the production of quality radiographs for proper treatment and diagnosis by physician,

Assist Radiologists with special examinations

Education:

Graduate of approved School of Radiologic Technology

Successful completion of department specific orientation

Certification/Licensure:

Temporary license State of New Jersey, ARRT eligible

Licensed by the State of New Jersey

Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist

Maintains required BLS for Health Care Provider

Must achieve before expiration of temporary licensure to remain actively employed

Job Specific Requirements

Implements the policies and procedures of the hospital and CCL department,

Performs interventions in accordance with current policy and procedures, safety guidelines and infection control principles,

Implements proper technical factors to meet the criteria for quality radiographs,

Reports patient complaints, problems and any untoward signs, symptoms or unusual occurrences immediately to the appropriate registered nurse,

Reports care/patient education according to standards, utilizing designated tools, forms and systems,

Provides basic patient care and comfort
