JOB DESCRIPTION:

SUMMARY OF POSITION

Part Time Saturday- Sunday 3pm-11pm. Needs to be comfortable with med pass and have a valid driver license.

Provides onsite observation, training, and community groups. Responsible for drawing upon their experience in the field to educate and train new employees.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Promote the mission, values and vision of Centerstone.
  • Provides assistance and supervision to clients in their activities of daily living.
  • Document changes in clients' social behaviors.
  • Recognize deviations in clients' mental or physical state and take appropriate action to ensure client and employee safety.
  • Maintain structure and consistency with the clients through the patient/client stay.
  • Develop a professional relationship with the clients in order to gain their cooperation and respect.
  • Document client behaviors.
  • Maintain professional and ethical code of behavior
  • Serve as role model to lower-level peers by demonstrate problem solving skills and teaching clients coping skills.
  • Provide structure and guidance to clients in positive ways.
  • Trains newly hired Behavioral Technicians.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Effectively communicate via written, verbal, in person and virtual methods.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education Level

High school graduate or equivalent required.

Years of Experience

One years' experience in mental health/addictions facility required.

Certification/Licensure

Valid Florida Driver's License with a safe driving record and current auto insurance.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Standing - 20%

Sitting - 80%

Lifting - Occasional
