Description A leading Consulting client is seeking an Internal Audit Consultant to support its client's annual BAU Audit Program focused on capital projects. This role will focus on evaluating financial and operational controls tied to capital expenditures, including payment requisitions, invoicing, and change management processes. The consultant will perform risk-based sampling and testing of documentation related to approved payments, invoices, and change orders to assess policy adherence and contractual compliance. The engagement will identify procedural gaps and assess whether previously approved billings are supported and aligned with contract terms defined in construction agreements. Skills & Qualifications * 5-10+ years of internal audit, risk, or compliance experience * Strong experience auditing financial processes and controls * Ability to perform detailed documentation review and identify discrepancies * Experience working with large data sets and audit workpapers * Strong stakeholder communication and reporting skills Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of New York, NY. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $90.00 - $110.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
