About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on, results-driven Sales and Leasing Director to lead and manage our sales and leasing team across a multi-mobile home community portfolio. This role is ideal for a high achiever with a passion for people, a sharp business mind, and the ability to roll up their sleeves and get things done. You will oversee the full sales and leasing lifecycle, drive team performance, build strategic partnerships, and ensure operational excellence across all processes.
Key Responsibilities

  • Manage, coach, and develop a team of 10+ property managers (sales/leasing responsibilities) across multiple regions, 5+ corporate team members, setting clear expectations and holding the team accountable to performance standards.
  • Provide hands-on support, clear direction, and regular feedback to ensure the team operates at a high level.
  • Lead by example - be willing to step in and assist the team whenever needed.
  • Oversee the entire sales and leasing process from prospect assignment through close, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and thorough documentation at every stage.
  • Supervise all leasing transactions, home sales (including existing resident home purchases), lease-purchase agreements, and related documentation.
  • Implement and enforce quality control across all sales and leasing workflows.
  • Handle special projects and complex situations such as Right of First Refusal compliance, purchase of homes within the portfolio, and home relocations.
  • Track and report on the full sales funnel - prospect assignments, response times, follow-up frequency, pipeline progression, and closed deals - using CRM and project management tools (Monday.com).
  • Build and deliver monthly and quarterly performance reports to the executive team.
  • Monitor portfolio occupancy metrics and trends to identify opportunities and areas of concern.
  • Facilitate the flow of information and communication between sales, operations, finance, and other departments.
  • Work closely with the executive team, underwriting, and operations to align goals, strategy, and execution.
  • Improve internal processes and communication channels to increase efficiency and reduce friction across teams.
  • Identify, develop, and manage strategic partnerships that support sales growth, lead generation, and community visibility.
  • Coordinate marketing initiatives to maximize lead flow and brand presence.
  • Drive tenant retention through a customer-first approach, ensuring residents receive responsive, high-quality service.
  • Address resident concerns proactively and build a culture of care across the team.
  • Ensure adherence to fair housing regulations, state-specific eviction and leasing laws, and company policies.
  • Maintain awareness of compliance requirements related to home sales, title transfers, and tenant rights.


Qualifications & Skills
Required

  • 3+ years of experience in sales with demonstrated leadership and team management experience.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (required).
  • Strong sense of urgency and a track record of driving results under pressure.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Critical thinking, sound judgment, and strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with CRM and project management platforms (Monday.com experience is a plus).
  • Comfortable working with data - building reports, analyzing occupancy trends, and tracking KPIs.


Preferred

  • 3+ years of experience in sales, leasing, or property management, Experience in manufactured housing or mobile home park communities.
  • Familiarity with property management software (e.g., Rent Manager).
  • Background in managing teams of 8-12+ across multiple locations.
