Northwestern University is seeking a temporary Program Assistant 2.

Temporary Job Description:

Logistics: The Anthropology Department is moving in early September. We will be organizing 45 offices spread out over 3 buildings to guide faculty and graduate students in packing, distributing packing materials, scheduling book give-aways, thinking through and planning major parts of the move. Much of this temporary position will involve working with other staff on these logistics. This might involve making schedules for different aspects of the move preparations with faculty, staff and graduate students, coordinating supply orders and distribution, organizing common spaces for moving and in some cases packing them up.

Events:

At the same time, especially in the first month, the department has a number of events happening. Responsibilities may involve some event plans and execution.

Reception:

Office reception coverage, answering phones, directing visitors.
