Summary:
The Apprentice - Patient Services Representative role is designed to provide on the job training for a qualified individual without previous experience in medical office operations. Under the supervision and direction of a preceptor and or practice manager, the Apprentice will greet patients in a friendly and courteous manner, answer telephones, schedule appointments, and perform other overall general office duties as assigned. The PSR apprentice will also collect, verify, enter, and monitor patient data while complying with the federal, state and Maine Health confidentiality policies.

This role is for students already enrolled in Portland Adult Education's Office administrator program
