What this job involves:

As a Change Control Coordinator, you will be a vital part of our engineering operations, responsible for ensuring the stability and safety of our client's critical systems. You will prioritize, diagnose, and escalate change control compliance issues, assess procedural risk in Methods of Procedure (MOPs), and see complex problems through to resolution. Working with a high degree of autonomy, you will use your deep understanding of critical systems to communicate technical details effectively with peers, management, and clients. In this role, you are central to delivering best-in-class service as we are collectively shaping a brighter way for our clients and our teams.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Manage client change control systems and associated work order platforms, understanding the downstream impact on business intelligence systems.
  • Oversee the library of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Methods of Procedure (MOPs), assessing their effectiveness and recommending improvements.
  • What sets JLL apart is our culture of collaboration; you will partner with and educate peers on methodologies for creating risk-mitigating procedures.
  • Conduct administrative reviews of best-known methods and maintain all related documentation.
  • Report on change control data and key metrics to engineering management.
  • Serve as the day-to-day contact for the owner's representative regarding change control activities.

Required qualifications:

  • A thorough understanding of critical systems, requiring a data center engineering background.
  • Proven ability to verbally guide a technical team through end-to-end procedures, such as switching and de-energizing equipment.
  • Experience in a Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing (MEP) field.
  • Proficiency in computer applications such as Google Docs, MS Office, CMMS, and Building Automation Systems (BAS).
  • Excellent writing skills and a well-organized approach to documentation.
  • Solid interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively and professionally with teammates.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience as a Lead Engineer, Assistant Chief Engineer, or a similar role in a data center environment.
  • Direct experience with technical writing.
  • Familiarity with digital work scripting libraries and template conversion.
  • Knowledge of backup power infrastructure, data center design, and related industry nomenclature.

Estimated compensation for this position:

72,000.00 - 82,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
