As a Security Officer Armed Route Driver in McAllen, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer in a dynamic retail location, where you will conduct routine mobile and foot patrols, remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and notifying the appropriate contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, entrances, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor customer and team member activity, observe for unusual behavior, and report suspicious incidents, policy violations, and/or potential hazards to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
• Support opening and closing procedures, assist with alarm-related responses, and maintain a visible presence to help to deter theft, trespassing, and/or other disruptive activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
