Finish Dozer Operator

Job Overview:

Morgan is seeking Finish Dozer Operators to join our Excavation Division. As a Dozer Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment safely and efficiently on civil construction projects. You will also assist with general labor tasks as needed. Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a dozer and other heavy equipment, including trucks and front-end loaders, in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform grading, earthmoving, and excavation work per project specifications.
• Assist in equipment maintenance, including cleaning and securing equipment after use.
• Support general labor tasks such as cutting edges, sweeping curb lines, marking manholes, staking, and stringing as needed.
• Identify and report obstacles or hazards to the Foreman to ensure a safe work environment.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications:

• Experience in heavy equipment operation is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Strong work ethic and ability to follow instructions from supervisors.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including 12-hour shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed.
• Ability to relocate, if necessary.
