| Position Highlights |
The Parking Services Officer will provide essential services and access to students, faculty, staff and guest for campus as a member of the Parking Services Team, Parking and Transportation Services (PTS). Primary function is to assist the Parking Services Manager with the enforcement of parking regulations while engaging the mantra that PTS is here to make everyone else on campus successful. Delivers front line customer service, enforcement and traffic control using a variety of equipment to maintain access to all parking facilities. This position also assists other department teams by enabling successful revenue control and execution of large scale public and private events on campus throughout the year. Submits routine incident reports to capture and document property damage to the university by motorists or other incidents. This position is primarily scheduled for the night shift, from 10:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m., Wednesday through Sunday, and may be adjusted based on departmental needs. | Duties & Responsibilities |
- Monitors, educates, and enforces Parking and Transportation Services parking regulations throughout campus to ensure daily access for students, staff, faculty, and guests.
- Delivers high quality, professional, front-facing customer service to students, faculty, staff and guests, while providing consistent, reliable, and friendly service.
- Issues citations and parking fees, when necessary.
- Demonstrates and practices the purpose, mission and core values of the University of Arizona and the Parking and Transportation Services department.
- Provides traffic control to facilitate access and reduce traffic congestion for parking facilities during large scale events on campus.

- Ability to communicate effectively with different groups, individuals, and/or stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a team environment or independently.
- Ability to make in-field decisions/choices, being a forward thinker.
- Ability to be hard working/self-motivated.

| Minimum Qualifications |
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- High school diploma or high school diploma equivalency is required.
- Must have a valid driver's license and ability to drive according to the University Fleet Safety Policy.

In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Campus Safety Act (Clery Act), each year the University of Arizona releases an Annual Security Report (ASR) for each of the University's campuses.Thesereports disclose information including Clery crime statistics for the previous three calendar years and policies, procedures, and programs the University uses to keep students and employees safe, including how to report crimes or other emergencies and resources for crime victims. As a campus with residential housing facilities, the Main Campus ASR also includes a combined Annual Fire Safety report with information on fire statistics and fire safety systems, policies, and procedures.
