What the day will look like

  • Prepare, analyze, and report on financial results, clearly articulating key performance drivers and trends.
  • Partner with business leaders as a strategic finance advisor, providing actionable insights to support decision-making and drive improved financial outcomes.
  • Access and synthesize data from multiple financial systems and databases to develop and present clear business analyses and recommendations to management.
  • Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting processes, as well as the annual budgeting process, including data collection, validation, and analysis.
  • Support the monthly close process through revenue and expense analysis, preparation of journal entries, and development of variance commentary.
  • Provide financial analysis to support achievement of financial objectives, including budgeting, forecasting, variance tracking, and profitability analysis.
  • Support the annual incentive compensation process with financial modeling and analysis.
  • Perform deal modeling and scenario ("what-if") analysis to evaluate financial impact and support commercial decisions.
  • Provide financial governance for Cost Benefit Analyses (CBAs), including development, approval support, and ongoing tracking of actual project costs and realized benefits against approved CBAs.
  • Translate large and complex data sets into concise, executive-ready presentations and materials.
  • Serve as a key liaison between Controllership, Accounting Operations, and Business Operations to ensure alignment and effective communication across stakeholders.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • 3+ years of experience in corporate financial planning and analysis
  • Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership who quickly learns the business, systems, and role responsibilities.
  • Proactive mindset, anticipating needs and identifying opportunities to improve processes and outcomes without requiring close direction.
  • Works effectively both independently and as part of cross-functional teams, collaborating well with finance and business stakeholders.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain financial concepts to non-financial audiences.
  • Consistently delivers high-quality, accurate work on time, with strong attention to detail across all analyses and deliverables.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or relevant field required.

Pay Transparency Laws

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $78,000 - $95,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.

The salary range reflected is based on a primary work location of Fort Washington, Pennsylvania. The actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location.

This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
