GATX is seeking a Director, Human Resources & HR Compliance to play a critical leadership role within our HR organization. This position is responsible for planning, developing, and delivering strategic HR initiatives across employee relations, performance management, training, and HR compliance-ensuring alignment with business strategy while maintaining the highest standards of legal and regulatory compliance. This role serves as a trusted advisor to business unit leaders, providing strategic counsel, practical guidance, and hands-on partnership. The Director will ensure fair and equitable treatment of employees, promote positive employee relations, and proactively mitigate risk by ensuring all HR practices comply with federal, state, and local employment laws. Responsibilities
Partner closely with business unit leaders to align HR strategies with business goals while ensuring full legal and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
Posting Duration This posting will remain open until the role is filled. As of the post date, the salary range for this position is: Min USD $134,800.00/Yr. Max USD $197,000.00/Yr. This role may be eligible to participate in the Company's short-term incentive plan and long-term incentive plan, the details of which will be provided to the applicant upon hire. This range is a reasonable estimate and takes into account several factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including, but not limited to, geographic location, skill set, experience, education, training, internal equity, and other business needs. | |||||||
