Job Description:

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Products & Industrial Cyber Specialist to join our Cyber Security Team based in Grand Prairie, TX

This position collaborates with all Digital domains, with Corporate Security, and with our plants and assembly lines to make the traditional as well as the new digitized means of Aircraft production (Industrial Information and Communication Technology systems, Operational Technology (OT) systems and Industrial Automation and Control Systems (IACS) more resilient to cyber attacks. This position will support Industrial Cyber Security requirements and capabilities at all Airbus Helicopter North America sites including Grand Prairie, TX; Columbus, MS; and Fort Erie, ON.

Your Challenges:

New and Enhanced Solution Delivery: 50%

  • Coordinate with the NA HO Digital Cyber Security and NA Digital Industrial Cyber Security Lead on strategy and direction

  • Adapt and execute the AH Digital Security strategy, Translate the AH Digital Security strategy into operational priorities:

  • Work with the central Digital Cyber Security teams to tailor and adapt existing security software and services for industrial and OT needs and customer requirements, with focus on - but not limited to - working with the SOC team in the area of industrial cyber monitoring and with the network and connectivity teams in the area of industrial network security

  • Work with all industrial Digital product teams to deliver secure Industrial IT and OT solutions

  • Support projects to improve (or recover) security/compliance levels of Digital industrial solutions

  • Carry out continued identification of industrial customer cyber security needs

  • Carry out site lead of industrial cyber solutions and service implementation and improvement projects in cooperation with Digital products, plant business, plant focal points

  • Contribute to the overall industrial cyber security vision and to the Digital Industrial Security roadmap

Service Operations, Management, and Monitoring: 30%

  • Measure (metrics/KPIs) security and compliance levels of Digital industrial solutions

  • Manage his/her resource needs and contribute to the team's budget planning

Local/Division Point of Contact: 20%

  • Represent the Digital Cyber Security organization in local/division activities and meetings

  • Educate local/division contacts on Digital Cyber Security policies, performance, and capabilities

Additional Responsibilities: Other duties as assigned.

Your Boarding Pass:

Required:

  • Four year college degree in Systems Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering/Automation, Industrial Security/Operational Technology, Information Technology, Cyber Security, Manufacturing Automation, or similar disciplines or equivalent experience

  • Five years experience in an Information Technology position

  • Up to 20% Domestic and International Travel involved

  • Able to work in the US, ability to travel to Canada and Europe

  • Experience with Cyber Security technology and controls such as anti-virus tools, endpoint detection and response, or other security operations tools

  • Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written form in English

  • Knowledge of common office suites such as Google Workspace

  • Knowledge of common computer operating systems such as Windows and Linux

  • General knowledge of security concepts such as anti-malware, network segmentation, and password management

Preferred:

  • Master's degree

  • Five or more years experience supporting Industrial Cyber Security in a manufacturing or aerospace environment

  • ITIL Certification

  • GICSP Global Industrial Cybersecurity Practitioner (GIAC) Certification

  • GIAC Security Essentials Certification Certification

  • GIAC Security Leadership Certification Certification

  • ISACA Certified Information Security Manager Certification

  • Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer: Security Certification

  • (ISC)2 SCCP Certification

  • (ISC)2 CISSP Certification

  • (ISC)2 ISSAP Certification

  • SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) Certification

  • Active Directory or SCCM related technologies experience

  • Proficiency in French, German, or Spanish is a plus

  • Very good understanding of Operational Technology, ICS/IACS, automation systems, shop floor processes and requirements in shop floor environments

  • IT security professional (certification, references) experience in information systems security technology, ideally with focus\experience in cyber incident detection and response, is an asset

  • Proven (certification, references) experience in operational technology (OT) is an asset

Physical Requirements:

  • Sitting: able to sit for long periods of time in meetings, working on the computer. [daily]

  • Squatting / Kneeling: able to squat or kneel to retrieve or replace items stored on low shelving. [occasionally]

  • Standing: able to stand for discussions in offices. [up to several times a week]

  • Travel: able to travel independently and at short notice. [up to monthly]

  • Walking: able to walk through office and production areas including uneven surfaces. [daily]

  • PPE required: Steel-toed shoes are required for all shop floor visits, appropriate hearing/eye protection may also be required when visiting the shop floor.
