The Developer Experience team empowers Snowflake engineers to do what they do best: write and ship highly reliable code fast. Our vision is to build the world's best Developer Experiences platform using the latest AI advancements. We own Bazel Build systems, IDEs, and Cloud Workspaces. We use the latest AI technologies to solve Snowflake's engineering problems. Almost all Snowflake engineers use our products daily. This is a high-impact, high-visibility team which defines Snowflake's engineering culture. Alongside industry experts in developer productivity, you will evolve our infrastructure and tooling to be elastic, performant and easy-to-use. • 1+ years of hands-on software development experience in a corporate environment.

• Strong inclination to use and innovate using AI tools

• A strong passion for making developers highly productive.

• A track record of flawless technical execution.

• Excellent problem solving skills and strong CS fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems.

• Fluency in Java, C++, Python or Golang.

• Ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment.

• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.

• Outstanding written and oral English language skills.

• Ability to work on-site at our Bellevue, WA office.

• Experience working on enterprise-grade build systems.

• Developing data or distributed systems internals.

• Experience with Bazel and / or observability.

The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role:

• The estimated base salary range for this role is $128,000 - $184,000.
• Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake's bonus and equity plan.

The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location. This role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; flexible spending & health savings account; at least 12 paid holidays; paid time off; parental leave; employee assistance program; and other company benefits.
