Under direct and constant supervision performs specimen processing, accessioning, phlebotomy, heel and finger sticks, customer service, clerical duties, effective communication with laboratory customers, problem resolution, record keeping, supply inventory and maintenance, as well as cleaning and maintaining a safe work environment. Additional duties will include operation of instruments, preventative maintenance as appropriate to each section/dept assigned. Performs all duties in a manner consistent with current laboratory safety standards. (See general non-technical section for details). For technical duties related to a specific section, see that section of this JDC. Must have current Phlebotomy Certification issued by the state of California Laboratory Field Services. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Pay Transparency Act Annual Full Pay Range: $58,401 - $72,600 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%) Hourly Equivalent: $27.97 - $34.77 Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position.
