Description
The Department of Medicine is seeking a Lab Assistant to support daily operations in a research laboratory under the supervision of the lab manager and senior personnel. In this role, you will help maintain and track an online mouse colony, assist with ordering and organizing laboratory supplies and reagents, and support compliance activities related to animal research protocols. You will play an important part in keeping the lab running smoothly and ensuring accurate documentation and workflow.
Additional responsibilities include assisting with genotyping and animal breeding, as well as supporting basic molecular and cellculture experiments such as gel electrophoresis and organ harvest preparation. This position is ideal for someone detailoriented, reliable, and eager to gain handson experience in laboratory research and animalbased studies.
Hourly range: $25.75-$30.17 Qualifications
