Job Title: Maintenance Technician Location with zip code: Chandler, AZ Duration: 3+ months Pay Rate. $25 per hr. On w2 without benefits Shift Hours: Monday - Friday (Third Shift) 6pm - 6am Job Description: Primary Functions of the Job Design, fabricate, install, repair, modify and maintain machines, equipment, structures and facilities. Required Skills: Tools common to the craft of millwright, pipefitter, welder, layout person, rigger, and blacksmith, such as drill press, saws, abrasive cutoff wheel, grinders and shears. Pipe fitting equipment. Welding and burning equipment. Hoists Cranes Non-destructive testing equipment. Personal computer; PLC terminals. Required Education: GED or equivalent Preferred Qualifications: Graduate of an approved apprentice program or have formal technical training beyond high school. Or a Journeyman's card (A Department of Labor Certificate or Equal). Testing and a skills demonstration will be required. Permanent employment subject to probation period not to exceed 6 months. If you are currently working as a general mechanic, proof of experience and/or a copy of your Journeyman's card must accompany your bid.
