Job Title: Electronic Technician Location: Oro Valley, AZ- 85755 Duration: 6+ Months Pay Rate: $23/hr. on w2 without benefits Shift: 1st Shift Job Designation: The Test Technician position performs disassembly, assembly, re-work, and minimum testing of various electrical/electronic equipment. Role & Responsibilities: Maintain a clean and orderly workstation. Maintain an acceptable safety record. Maintain an acceptable attendance record Willing to learn to test and troubleshoot various products as required. Completes necessary training to maintain knowledge and skills required for job performance Follow written and verbal instructions. Position requires overtime to production schedules and demands. Adhere to all company guidelines, policies and procedures. Self-monitor work progress against fast-paced area benchmarks and achieve on time delivery of all work Assist with area efficiency and 6S improvement projects Assist other departments with job duties and tasks, as needed within the scope of expertise Perform maintenance and alteration tasks in accordance with the current technical data provided in the manufacturers' instructions for continued airworthiness, services bulletins, service letters, airworthiness directives, government and industry standard practices, and other data acceptable to or approved by the FAA. Physical Requirements: Approximately 80% sitting and 20% standing/walking about in-door Company facilities. Lift and Carry up to 45 lbs. Use hand tools, and power tools. Use head and neck in static position, looking up/down and side-to-side. Perform major hand grasping and fine finger manipulations using both hands. Minimal: heavy lifting from floor or higher, bending, twisting, climbing, lifting arms above shoulders, kneeling. Minimal: exposure to excessive noise, hazardous chemicals, hazardous equipment, uneven walking surfaces Required Qualification: Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Certifications: N/A Years of Experience: 0-2 years prior work experience in an electronics Manufacturing/Testing environment Ability to utilize manual and automated test equipment to test digital and analog circuitry.
