POSITION: District-wide Student Services Coordinator
TYPE OF POSITION: 200-day contract Non-Represented Exempt, Licensed Coordinator Hours may vary based on program/building needs Reports to: Director of Student Services COMPENSATION: $80,000 - $95,000
QUALIFICATIONS: Required:
- Licensed by the Minnesota Department of Education
- Combination of education, training and/or experience necessary to successfully perform the essential functions of the work
Preferred:
- Two or more years of experience supporting the implementation of PBIS, SEL or non-exclusionary practices
- Master's degree in school counseling, social work, education, or related field or equivalent.
SUMMARY: The Student Services Coordinator partners with the Director of Student Services to support the development, alignment, and continuous improvement of district-wide systems related to Social-Emotional Learning (SEL), Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS), non-exclusionary practices, and student discipline within a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) framework.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Supports systems development & alignment
- Professional coaching & learning
- Collaborate and consult with school-based teams
- Support facilitation of PBIS/SEL teams
- Provide technical assistance and support to buildings
- Assist with data collection and data-based decision-making processes
- Respond to building team requests for support/assistance
- Create/manage on-line resources for staff
