Position Summary

We are seeking dependable and motivated Assembly Hydraulic Pump Testers to join our team on 3rd shift (10:45pm -6:45am Sunday through Thursday)!

Build, test, and repair hydraulic pumps while maintaining high safety, quality, and delivery standards.

Physical Demands:

  • Strength, agility, and movement

  • May require continuous upper body motion and hand and wrist motion

  • Work consists of lifting, pushing, and pulling from five to 50 pounds

  • Require sitting/standing throughout work shift

  • Must be able to stand/sit and work eight to ten hours per day

Responsibilities

  • Fill kits from model code

  • Build and repair simple and complex assemblies

  • Simple testing

  • Diagnose and make necessary adjustments and repairs on simple and complex assemblies

  • Test product to customer order and test specifications

  • Read and interpret blueprints, test specifications, and code sheets

  • Calculate flows and pressures at various speeds and frequencies

  • Follow all standard work, process instructions, and ISO work instructions and procedures

  • Work in team environment

  • Promote and maintain a clean and safe work environment by complying with procedures, policies, training, and regulations

  • Ensure established policies and procedures are followed

  • Participate in continuous improvement project team activities

  • Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by Supervisor

Qualifications

  • Education Requirements:

  • Must have High School Diploma / GED

  • Skill/Experience Requirements:

  • Troubleshooting skills

  • Working knowledge of component function and installation

  • Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively in a team environment

  • Willing to work overtime and weekends as needed to fulfill business requirements

  • Willing to participate in Company designated training

  • Ability to read, write, and speak basic English

  • Working knowledge of basic math

  • Ability to effectively communicate in oral and written form in order to present information and respond to inquiries from employees, customers, and suppliers

  • Basic computer skills

  • Ability to work with minimum supervision/guidance
