The Athletic trainer serves as a member of the Athletics Department. Penn State Behrend is a member of the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) and has 24 DIII varsity sports programs. QUALIFICATIONS
MINIMUM EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE & REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS If filled as Athletic Trainer - Intermediate Professional, this position requires: Bachelor's Degree 1+ years of relevant experience Required Certifications: Licensed Athletic Trainer - Pennsylvania State Board of Medicine Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) - National Athletic Trainers Association Board of Certification Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certification - American Red Cross, American Heart Association or other accredited organization Automated External Defibrillator(AED) Certification - American Red Cross, American Heart Association or other accredited organization If filled as Athletic Trainer - Advanced Professional, this position requires: Master's Degree 3+ years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience accepted Required Certifications: Automated External Defibrillator(AED) Certification - American Red Cross, American Heart Association or other accredited organization Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certification - American Red Cross, American Heart Association or other accredited organization Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) - National Athletic Trainers Association Board of Certification Licensed Athletic Trainer - Pennsylvania State Board of MedicineADDITIONAL INFORMATION
