About the Role AVIAN is seeking a Senior Program/Project/Management Analyst to provide senior-level program management and analytical support with an emphasis on configuration management coordination and execution. This role supports high-visibility Department of Defense acquisition programs and ensures alignment with Department of the Navy lifecycle management policies and configuration control processes. The selected candidate will work closely with Government leadership, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), and program stakeholders to support planning, execution, and oversight of configuration management activities. This position requires a proactive self-starter capable of managing complex efforts in a fast-paced acquisition environment.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities
Provide senior-level program management and configuration management support for DoD acquisition programs
- Coordinate and manage Material Review Boards (MRBs) and Joint Configuration Control Boards (JCCBs)
- Plan and facilitate pre-audit planning meetings with Government and contractor stakeholders
- Capture, track, and manage action items through closure for:
- Material Review Boards
- Joint Configuration Control Boards
- Pre-audit planning meetings
- Incremental Physical Configuration Audits (PCAs)
- System-level PCAs
- Maintain configuration management documentation and official records
- Review Requests for Variance (RFVs) for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
- Coordinate RFV corrections with contractors prior to scheduled JCCB meetings
- Provide status updates and briefings to Production IPT Leads on action items and risks
- Support configuration change management processes in accordance with NAVAIR guidance
- Assist with program planning, execution tracking, and lifecycle management activities
- Interface with Government leadership, IPTs, and cross-functional stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with DoD and Department of the Navy acquisition policies and procedures
Qualifications
Required Education
- Master's degree (MA/MS) from an accredited college or university
Required Experience
- Over ten (10) years of experience performing program management or configuration management support duties
- At least five (5) years of experience managing Electronic Warfare (EW) technology development programs
Desired Experience
- Ten (10) or more years supporting NAVAIR configuration change management processes
- Experience supporting configuration audits including PCA and FCA activities
- Experience supporting Production IPTs
- Familiarity with DoD acquisition lifecycle management processes
- Experience coordinating cross-functional engineering and program teams
Required Skills

- Strong configuration management knowledge within NAVAIR environments
- Ability to lead coordination across multiple stakeholders
- Excellent organizational and action item tracking skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced acquisition environments
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense security clearance.
- Due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Salary range: $151,000 - $176,000 (The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.)
