Our Northeast Division is seeking a dynamic Environmental Field Scientist to join our Woburn, MA office. You'll be part of a wellrespected, awardwinning team where career development, training, and mentoring are core to our culture. Our work spans a diverse portfolio of civil, environmental, water resources, and traffic/transportation projects, all within a fastpaced, collaborative, and engaging work environment that encourages growth and impact.

Your Responsibilities as an Environmental Field Scientist:

Conduct hazardousmaterialssurveys, including asbestos, lead-based paint, mold, and other materials.
Provide oversight of contaminated site remediation and hazardous building materials abatement.
Prepare field notes,photographs, and perform analysis and interpretation of field and analytical data.
Prepare technical reports and conduct ASTM Phase I and Phase II environmental site assessments.
Support emergency response services, communicate and collaborate with others, manage workloads and records, implement health & safety policies, and travel.

What We're Looking For

BA/BS in Environmental Science, or related field, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
2+ years of experience in the Industrial Hygiene / Hazardous Building Materials industry.
Asbestos, Lead, and/or 40hr HAZWOPER certification required
Proficient in MS Office and other commonly used computer programs preferred.
Familiarity with State Superfund and applicable federal and state regulations preferred.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and technical writing skills.
Excellent attention to detail with a strong safety mindset and record of safe work practices.

Work Environment & Schedule:

Willingness to conduct asbestos, lead, and mold surveys, remediation monitoring, exposure monitoring, and specialized industrial hygiene projects.
Ability to work in fastpaced environments, various weather conditions, climb stairs/ladders, and lift up to 50 pounds.
Willingness to travel up to 90% regionally and work nights or weekends as needed.
Valid driver's license, good driving history, and reliable transportation required.
Ability to wear a respirator, safety harness, and required PPE.
