Job Description

SUMMARY

The Environmental Clerk Intern will have the opportunity to work in a department that manages and monitors air emissions, water discharges and waste characterization and disposal. The department is also involved with continual improvement of the facility Environmental Management System (EMS).

JOB DUTIES

  • Help with auditing compliance status of the facility with regulatory and best management practices.
  • Assist with the development of a new training platform for EMS best management practices.
  • Uphold the excellent reputation of Kennedy Valve.

Payrate: $20.00 hourly

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate's Applied Science Degree
  • Experience with basic office skills
  • Strong background experience with MS PowerPoint
  • Strong working knowledge of other MS Office Suite programs

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to tolerate standing, walking, dust, fumes, and noise, on occasion.
  • Ability to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer.
