Position Summary The Energy Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying, developing, and executing growth opportunities across the distributed energy landscape. The role focuses on integrated energy solutions that combine diesel and natural gas generators, renewable and alternative energy solutions, battery energy storage systems (BESS), utility and grid-interactive markets, and distributed energy resource management (DERMS) software. The role drives growth by translating customer, market, and operational needs into scalable energy solutions, bridging business development and solution definition, and working across functions to advance hybrid, microgrid, rental, and grid interactive offerings that deliver measurable customer value and enable new commercial and service opportunities. Responsibilities: * Identify and pursue new business opportunities across industrial, commercial, data center and utility markets. * Develop go-to-market strategies for generators, switchgear, renewables, battery storage, and DERMS. * Enable Machine, Power (including Power Rental), and services businesses by using connectivity to unlock new commercial and service value streams. * Build and manage a sales pipeline aligned with growth objectives. * Lead customer and partner engagement with technical credibility. * Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to deliver integrated solutions. * Engage utilities and grid operators on capacity, demand response, and grid services. * Track regulatory, incentive, and market developments. * Build and strengthen relationships with Key Accounts and Vendors. | |
