We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join our Group and drive improvement, innovation and help Flow USA achieve its goals for quality, safety, and reliability.

Are you a strategic problem-solver who can turn complex manufacturing challenges into innovative, cost-effective solutions that elevate product performance and reliability? Can you collaborate across Engineering, Production, and Quality teams to optimize assembly processes to make a real impact? If so, this position may be right for you. Which tasks will you perform?

You will:

  • Improve manufacturing efficiency through process optimization, workflow improvements, and waste reduction initiatives.
  • Reduce scrap and rework by identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Improve product quality and first-pass yield (FPY) through data-driven problem-solving and process refinement.
  • Implement projects and activities that directly support improved on-time delivery performance.
  • Design and/or implement tooling, fixtures, and manufacturing aids to enhance safety, ergonomics, and repeatability.
  • Lead equipment transfer projects, ensuring rapid, effective installation, validation, and integration into production.
  • Support product transfer projects by serving as a technical resource for assembly, test, and production readiness.
  • Serve as Local Process Owner (LPO), providing internal support and contributing to network collaboration with organizational partners.
  • Coordinate internal teams to lead complex change-management activities impacting multiple product lines.
  • Ensure all manufacturing processes comply with EH&S (Environmental Health & Safety), EPA, and OSHA requirements.
  • Promote and maintain a safe working environment through best practices in equipment design and process setup.

What do we expect from you?

You:

  • B.S./B.A. in Engineering, Science, or another technical field and 2+ years of experience as a Manufacturing, Automation, or Production Engineer; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • General knowledge of mechanical construction, pneumatic and hydraulic control systems, assembly tooling and methods, electronic/electrical control circuits and components.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft O365 applications.
  • Ability to effectively present technical information and respond to questions from crossfunctional partners.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and strong intellectual curiosity.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Advanced knowledge of manufacturing processes and production systems.
  • Ability to manage and lead project teams through launch of new processes/equipment over weeks to months.
  • Experience leading complex change management initiatives across multiple product lines.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with minimal assistance for both process and equipment-related issues.
  • Ability to apply Lean principles (5S, value-stream mapping, waste reduction, standard work) in a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work based on internal customer needs.
