Capitol View Transitional Care Center is a state-of-the-art true transitional care unit (TCU) located in Regions Hospital (we are part of the HealthPartners organization as a separate nonprofit organization.) We provide quality care to patients from 18+ years of age who are in need of a short-term stay. Our average length of stay is 17 days. As a RN your patient to nursing staff ratio is three times lower than the average nursing home. In this role you will be responsible for the following job duties:
* Provide direct care to patients by providing ADLs, accessing physical and mental status of patient to determine efficacy of treatment and care plan, administer medication complete all documentation, etc.
* Prepare room preparation and room discharge of patients
* Answer call lights and provide follow-up to ensure needs are met.
* Answer questions from patients and families or direct them to the appropriate person.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
FTE: per diem
Work Schedule: per diem
Salary:
RN starting rate at $36.47/hour. Pay rate is based off previous RN work experience.
Required Qualifications:
* Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
* Currently licensed as a RN with the Minnesota Board of Nursing
* Current CPR Card Certification
