HDR is seeking an entry-level Human Resources (HR) Administrative Assistant to support our HR Special Programs team within our Corporate HR department in Omaha, NE. This role is a great opportunity for someone looking to begin or grow their career in a professional, corporate HR environment while developing foundational skills in HR operations, employee support, data management, and compliance within a collaborative team setting. In this position, you will provide a broad range of customer-focused administrative and operational support that helps ensure accurate employee records, efficient HR processes, and a positive experience for employees, HR partners, internal stakeholders and external customers. You will serve as a key point of contact for HR inquiries, assist with onboarding and compliance activities, and support reporting, systems, and documentation needs that enable smooth day-to-day HR operations. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to analyze and manage data accurately, effective communication and customer service skills, and a high level of discretion when handling sensitive and confidential information. The position is well suited for someone who is comfortable learning new technologies, adapting to evolving and automated workflows, and continuously building technical, analytical, and HR knowledge in a cloud-based Human Capital Management (HCM) environment. In this role, we will count on you to support key HR processes through responsibilities such as: * Provide responsive, high quality customer service to employees and external partners as a main point of contact for the HR team by managing shared HR inboxes, answering and routing calls from the main Human Resources phone line, addressing general HR, reporting, hourly rate, and employment verification inquiries, and guiding customers to appropriate self-service tools, resources, and/or HR partners.
