Job Description

Overview of the Position:


The Logistics Support Specialist candidate will be responsible for finalizing international shipments, validating data entry, and maintaining accurate records. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our international logistics and data management processes.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Assist with and coordinate the shipment of goods to international destinations, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and documentation requirements.
  • Accurately validate and enter shipment data in our systems, ACE, and other platforms ensuring all information is correct and up to date.
  • Maintain comprehensive and organized records of all shipments, including tracking information, invoices, and other relevant documentation.
  • Liaise with international shipping partners, internal foreign trade department, and other internal teams to resolve any issues and ensure timely and accurate data is reported for all shipments.
  • Ensure all shipments comply with international shipping regulations and company policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.



Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:



  • Ability to type and use a computer.
  • Ability to use and present information by using MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook or related programs.
  • Capable of working well independently and within attendance guidelines.
  • Multi-tasking and highly organized.
  • Ability to work occasional overtime.
  • Knowledge of warehouse/distribution areas of shipping, order filling and material control.

Requirements

Education / Experience Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
