The Inventory Analyst supports daytoday inventory operations across the company's distribution and manufacturing network. This role assists in tracking and reconciling inventory, maintaining accurate system records, supporting physical inventory and cycle count activities, and partnering with crossfunctional teams to ensure product availability. The position helps identify slowmoving and obsolete inventory, supports process improvements, and provides data analysis to enhance service levels while reducing operational costs.



Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

* Assist with planning, execution, and reconciliation tasks during Spring and Fall physical inventory events.

* Help establish monthly cycle counts; report discrepancies, and assist in rootcause analysis.

* Monitor and reconcile inventory variances between eWM and ECC systems.

* Support documentation of adjustments, including QA material, expired stock, and quarantined inventory.

* Maintain inventory records to ensure compliance with company policy.

* Run and analyze regular reports to identify slowmoving, excess, or obsolete inventory.

* Provide support to supply chain, pricing, and marketing teams to help move unproductive stock.

* Assist in maintaining standardized inventory management processes across North American sites.

* Support audits and followup activities to improve adherence to inventory practices.

* Provide communication and operational support to DCs and manufacturing regarding inventory issues.

* Assist with tasks related to product discontinuations, PPE reviews, and slotting assessments.

* Provide inventory data, analysis, and recommendations to Demand Planning, Product Marketing, Supply Chain Planning, and Customer Service.

* Prepare regular and adhoc reports using Excel, Business Objects, and SAP.

* Use data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.

* Participate as a contributor on projects such as system updates (e.g., SAP), process improvements, and network changes.



Qualifications

Required Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, finance, accounting, or related field.

* 1-3 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, inventory control, or operations (internships/coops acceptable).

* Experience working with ERP or MRP systems; SAP/eWM exposure is a plus but not required.

* Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

* High attention to detail and deductive reasoning.

* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

* Proficiency in Excel, MS Office, Business Objects, and other relevant systems

* Preferred certifications: CPIM, ASCM, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing.
