Oversees the clinical practice and patient care delivery, as well as the 24-hour accountability, authority and responsibility of the technical operations of the Cardiac Cath Labs. Manages human, fiscal and material resources, implementation of policies, procedures, standards and regulations. Assists physicians during cardiac cath procedures, pacemaker/ICD insertions, and other miscellaneous procedures by operating the physiologic / hemodynamic monitoring computer and/or scrubbing for invasive cardiac and vascular procedures. Provides patient care to adult and geriatric patients.

REQUIRED

1. American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (AART or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) within two (2) years of hire date.
2. Minimum of four (4) years recent experience in an interventional cardiac cath lab.
3. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
4. Prior experience with coronary angiography, coronary intervention, and peripheral vascular intervention.
5. Thorough knowledge of cardiac arrhythmia interpretation.
