As a Portfolio Manager - Equipment Finance, you will manage and grow a portfolio of banking relationships while ensuring strong credit quality and client satisfaction. You'll analyze financial data, structure lending solutions, and identify opportunities to deepen client relationships. This role offers the chance to expand your expertise in credit, client management, and strategic growth within a collaborative environment.

Key Accountabilities

  • Analyze financial statements and credit data to evaluate loan requests and recommend appropriate structures

  • Manage portfolio risk and ensure compliance with credit policies and regulatory guidelines

  • Partner with Relationship Managers to support and grow client relationships

  • Identify and drive cross-selling opportunities across banking products and services

  • Monitor loan performance and proactively address repayment or credit issues

  • Support new business development through due diligence and financial analysis

  • Present credit recommendations and participate in loan approval processes

  • Contribute to special projects and represent the bank in community and business events

Education & Experience

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • 4+ years of experience in commercial, corporate, or real estate banking or credit analysis

  • 4+ years handling complex credit transactions

Preferred:

  • 2+ years of sales or client relationship management experience

  • 2+ years of formal credit training

  • Equipment Finance Experience

  • CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) designation
