The Pay Scale is $211,682.00 - $258,149.00

Position Summary

The Senior Corporate Counsel serves as a primary legal advisor for the corporate healthcare system. This role involves high-level legal strategy, significant decision-making authority, and mentorship of the legal team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert legal counsel on complex healthcare regulations, transactions and governance matters.
  • Work collaboratively with the legal team and the organization's management and executive team.
  • Manage attorneys, paralegals and other staff and/or serve as a subject matter expert in specific specialties.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) from accredited law school
  • Application for a Washington license and license to practice in any state pending WA license
  • Minimum twelve (12) years of experience in a health system corporate legal department or law firm with significant involvement in health care transactions, joint ventures, affiliations, mergers and acquisitions, entity formation and governance matters - as well as additional experience in combination of regulatory, compliance, risk management, insurance, employment and contractual issues/matters

Pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
