Learn moreabout what we do.

Our award-winning culture embraces a bold vision of where technology can take us and a passion for tackling challenging problems with industry-first solutions. We believe that when people feel a sense of belonging, they can be more creative, innovative, and thrive at all points in their careers. The Precision Meso-scale Technology Center (PMTC) is a collaborative team of engineers, technicians, and manufacturing specialists. We combine traditional and advanced technologies to develop extremely high-precision components that power Keysight's industry-leading test & measurement equipment. We are seeking a Technology Integration Engineer to lead system-level integration across advanced precision manufacturing processes. This role ensures complex, tightly coupled processes operate as a cohesive, scalable system delivering consistent yield, performance, and throughput. This position serves to drive alignment, accelerate problem resolution, and enable stable production ramp across multiple process areas. The ideal candidate combines deep hands-on expertise with strong cross-functional leadership.

Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & System Ownership

  • Own end-to-end process integration across process flow, CTQs, tolerance stack-ups, and cross-process interactions.
  • Serve as the technical integrator and escalation point across machining, special processes, engineering, and equipment teams for complex, multi-process challenges.

Manufacturing Excellence & Optimization

  • Drive system-level optimization of yield, performance, cost, cycle time, and scalability.
  • Lead resolution of high-impact, multi-variable manufacturing issues using data-driven methods (DoE, advanced RCA, process characterization).
  • Identify and eliminate structural technical constraints limiting throughput, stability, and repeatability.

Change Leadership & Transformation

  • Act as a technical change agent, challenging legacy approaches and driving step-change improvements in manufacturing methods.
  • Introduce modern tools, technologies, and methodologies to advance PMTC manufacturing capability.

Technology Strategy & Future Capability

  • Lead next-generation manufacturing technology scoping, development, and integration.
  • Partner with PMTC leadership on the manufacturing technology roadmap.
  • Ensure NPI and production ramps achieve technical robustness, manufacturability, and scalability from day one.

Qualifications

Manufacturing Domain Experience

Strong hands-on and systems-level experience in one more precision manufacturing environments, including:

  • Turning (Swiss-type strongly preferred)
  • Milling (3- and 5-axis)
  • EDM or comparable high-precision processes
  • Wet processes (e.g., Plating, Chemical Milling, surface treatments)

Core Technical Competencies

  • Deep understanding of:
    • Process interactions and tolerance stack-up management
    • Critical-to-Quality (CTQ) characteristics and flow-down
    • Yield drivers, defect mechanisms, and failure modes
  • Proven capability to translate complex technical problems into actionable engineering solutions.

Leadership & Problem-Solving Capabilities

  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional technical initiatives without direct authority.
  • Strong analytical rigor in root cause analysis, DoE, statistical methods, and data-driven decision making.
  • Ability to operate effectively in high-ambiguity, fast-paced, ramp-driven environments.
  • High bias for action, ownership, and pragmatic execution.

Experience & Background

  • Typically 10+ years of experience in advanced manufacturing, precision engineering, or related fields.
  • Proven track record in:
    • Yield improvement and process capability expansion
    • Process integration across multiple manufacturing domains
    • Production ramps and NPI transitions
  • Experience leading development and integration of advanced precision manufacturing processes within a production environment is strongly preferred.
