The Role

Amphenol Aerospace Operations is seeking a technically-minded, hands-onTraining Coordinatorto work out of its state-of-the-art facility inMesa, AZ.

The key responsibilities of this Training Coordinatorinclude, but are not limited to:



  • As determined by objectives, goals, and strategies, deliver both hands-on land classroom training / instruction.
  • Procure, design, and administer training programs for machinists, inspectors, assemblers, and other personnel in accordance with all applicable industry workmanship standards to optimize efficiency of operations and minimize risks.
  • Assess training needs through job analysis and consultations with managers.
  • Design and implement learning strategies and programs, including LMS courses, hands-on workshops, and other training sessions as needed.
  • Assess the effectiveness of training programs and recommend improvements to ensure they meet organizational goals.
  • Work with managers, subject matter experts, and external vendors to design, develop, and deliver high-impact learning solutions.
  • Schedule all training events for individual, small, and large group trainings.
  • Maintain an annual training calendar.
  • Maintain employee training records.

The Person

The key skills and qualities of a at Amphenol Aerospace Operations:



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience related to instructional design, adult learning theory, training techniques or 2+ years learning and development experience preferably in the aerospace manufacturing industry
  • A combination of education and experience will be considered
  • Strong understanding of aerospace manufacturing workmanship standards highly desired
  • Strong preference for someone with knowledge of AS9100 QMS standards,IPC/WHMA 620,IPC J-STD 001,IPC 610 Inspection of Solder Joints
  • Experience speaking in front of small and large groups required.


Additional competencies:



  • Competency in Blue-Print and schematic reading is required.
  • Competency with hand measuring equipment is required.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing processes and 5S required.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills required.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills required.
  • Excellent computer skills and analytical abilities required..
